MEET THE DOCTORS

DR. CHRISTIAN TOLBOE DPM

Dr. Christian Tolboe joined Tolboe Foot and Ankle in July of 2013. Dr. Tolboe is certified as a Wound Care Specialist from the American Board of Wound Management. He is a member of the American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons, American Podiatric Medical Association, as well as the American College of Foot and Ankle Pediatrics. He completed his residency at Henry Ford Macomb Hospital in Michigan, where he served as Chief Resident and Internship Director. While in residency, he had a special focus on diabetic limb salvage, foot and ankle reconstruction, and foot & ankle trauma. Dr. Tolboe attended medical school at Des Moines University in Iowa and completed his undergraduate studies at Brigham Young University in Utah. He and his wife are currently raising four children in the Central Valley. Christian is fluent in Spanish. He was privileged to be able to serve the people of Argentina on a two-year mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. Born and raised in the Central Valley, Dr. Tolboe feels blessed to be able to live, work and serve in this area.

DR. DAVID PAXTON DPM

Dr. David Paxton joined Tolboe Foot and Ankle in 2018. Dr. Paxton is a member of American College of Foot and Ankle Surgeons and American Podiatric Medical Association. He completed his podiatric residency at Covenant Medical Center in Waterloo, Iowa where he served as Chief Resident. In residency he focused on diabetic limb salvage, forefoot, hindfoot, and ankle reconstruction, foot and ankle trauma, and total ankle replacements. Dr. Paxton attended medical school at College of Podiatric Medicine in Illinois, where he graduated with his Doctor of Podiatric Medicine and Master’s in Healthcare Administration in 2015. Dr. Paxton completed his undergraduate studies at Utah Valley University in Utah. Dr. Paxton and his wife are raising their four children in Modesto. Dr. Paxton has family ties in Modesto and feels fortunate to live, work, and raise his family in the Central Valley.

DR. DALLEN POPE DPM

Dr. Dallen Pope is excited to be joining the Tolboe Foot and Ankle family. Dr. Pope completed his residency at MercyOne Medical Center in Waterloo, IA. There he served as Chief Resident. During his residency, Dr. Pope was trained with a strong emphasis on the complete treatment of diabetic limb salvage, foot and ankle reconstruction, total ankle replacements, as well as trauma to the foot and ankle. Dr. Pope completed his undergraduate education at Brigham Young University Idaho with a major in biology and minor in Spanish. He began medical school at Des Moines University College of Podiatric Medicine and Surgery. There he graduated with honors as the graduate with distinction, the highest recognition awarded by the college. The Pope Family consists of Dr. Pope, his wife Jessica and three handsome boys that are pleased and eager to start their new lives in the Central Valley.
